If you stumbled upon this blog, I would like to say hello. Hope you are having a good morning, good afternoon or good evening wherever you are.

I’m Jamie. I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. I spent 3 years in the United States, moved to the United Kingdom, and lived here for slightly over 2 years. Moving here and there, mostly in Western countries, made me realise that many people are interested in Korea.

Especially with the recent interest in Korean culture, such as K-pop, K-drama, K-beauty and Korean food, I met many people who can speak Korean fluently or learn Korean in San Francisco and London. Every time that happened, it really warmed my heart, as South Korea is a tiny country (in my humble opinion). When I was in the US for the first time in 2005, only a few people knew where Korea was. At that time, most people I met only knew about Japan and China as East Asian countries.

So, meeting all these amazing people, I wanted to introduce all the cool spots, amazing things to do and awesome food to eat in Korea from a local’s point of view. Most of the touristy things people already know are quite similar. Still, we have way more to offer to all the amazing people visiting our country. 🙂
